About Me

New York, NY, United States
Once upon a time there was this grave, blond girl living at the coast of Norway. She was so bored with her life, that she decided to start over and travel across the sea. She ended up in New York City, the city of opportunities. Here she will hope to find Life, before she returns to Norway. You can follow her search in this blog.

The streets are paved with diamonds and there's just so much to see

There's this supercute store in Noho called Brow NY, which each Tuesday between 6-8 pm holds a party for a charity case. You are offered free drinks, cupcakes and wonderful company, while you can look around the store for treasures. And trust me, there are many of them. The store is full of wonderful clothes, shoes, purses and jewelry. Some vintage, some second hand, some designed and hand made, and some commercial brands (Brow NY is a own brand). The best thing, though, is that the money from all the things you buy in the store during those 2 hours on a Tuesday, will go to the charity case of the day. Isn't that great? You good deed of the day would be shopping the most amazing pieces.

When the party was over, we found ourselves a bit hungry. So we went to the nearest restaurant and had some delicious food.

After the dinner we decided to stop by our new-found bar Rockography, on our way home. We ended up staying till they closed, and then went out with the bartenders. We tried a few different bars, before we settled at a sports bar in the Washington Square-area. We din't go home until this bar closed as well, so all in all it became one long Thuesday-evening.

What started out as just a innocent vintage-party in Noho ended up with tequila-shots at a bar in Washington Square. That's exactly what I love about this city - you never know what's behind the next corner.
